Carrera Subway E Spec (Upgraded)

We've recently refurbished & upgraded a Carrera Subway E Spec E-Bike and it's available to collect from our West London workshop!!!

With 2 Li-Ion batteries (x1 8.8ah & an additional 12ah) giving up to 50 miles range* (see below for Range calculation information), a Cadence sensor replacing the Torque sensor, a brand new controller replacing the limited stock controller and a throttle* to help you along, we feel we've helped the Carrera Subway E Spec get to the next level with this refurb and upgrade.

This E-Bike also includes a 3 month limited warranty*

The Carrera Subway E is kitted out with reliable Shimano 9 speed gears and a single chainring on the front allowing for hassle free shifting and the Subway E is fitted with Tektro Hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors for consistent braking.

The 20" Subway E comes equipped with 27.5" Kenda puncture protect tyres

Range

All electric bikes indicate a maximum mileage range that they can cover on a single battery charge. This is the furthest range in ideal conditions; however, this range can be impacted by a number of factors:

• The combined weight of the rider and any luggage.
• The assistance mode selected.
• The cycling route (e.g. type of terrain and inclines).
• Temperature and climate (e.g. cold weather will decrease the performance of the battery).
• Tyre pressure.
• Wind speed and direction.

Electric Capability

This upgraded Carrera Subway E comes equipped with a 2 batteries (see specs below for more details) each with a charging time of around 6 hours

The rear wheel houses a 36v 250w motor capable of delivering speeds of up to 15.5mph (adhering to UK E-Bike Laws)

As a bonus, we also have included a throttle* to help you cruise if you need a quick rest whilst riding (Private land only with the landowners permission)!!!

*Range calculated with the following conditions -

No throttle usage, only pedal assist at level 3 (max level), mainly flat roads interspersed with hills and slight inclines, rider weight of 92kg, carrying a further 6kg of weight. Weather conditions - Sunny, 30 degrees centigrade, with a slight breeze. 

*3 month Warranty included. Warranty only for mechanical work, not electrical. Warranty limited to labour, parts not included.
